Apart from the incredible designed hinge, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G has two displays - for convenience let’s call the outer display ‘Cover Screen and then the larger one the ‘Main Screen’. The Cover Screen on the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G has a tall 15.81cm (6.2") display which was more than adequate for me to use the device like a smartphone. And given the tall aspect ratio, I could easily operate the device using one hand. But when you unfold the device, you get this 19.27cm (7.6") foldable display made with the world’s first Ultra-Thin Glass.
The rich colours of Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is made from ultra-thin folding glass which consists of multiple layers of different materials to absorb external shock better. And with the tiny punch hole camera and minimal bezels, needless to say, the viewing experience was immersive. But the icing on the cake was the 120Hz refresh rate on the Main Screen which made everything on the screen appear buttery smooth. The Main Screen delivers incredible lifelike colour even in bright sunlight. What was great is that I never faced any tiredness when I was watching the screen for a longer duration. The blue light is reduced at the pixel level, which helped me enjoy the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G for hours on end without any eye strain.
