Classic Legends has recently increased the price of its bobber offering, the Perak, in India. The motorcycle now demands a premium of Rs 2,987 as compared to the previous pricing and it costs Rs 1,97,487 (ex-showroom, Delhi) now. Apart from the revised price tag, the motorcycle remains the same in all other aspects.

The Jawa Perak is the most affordable bobber-styled motorcycle and doesn’t have direct competition in India. Typical of a bobber, it boasts of a long wheelbase and a low-slung profile. Certain styling elements which make it look distinctive are its bar-end round mirrors, floating-style single-piece seat, underseat tail lamp, chopped fenders and dual slash-cut exhausts. It stays true to its old-school ethos and makes do with basic features like a round analogue instrument cluster and conventional lighting. However, it does get dual channel ABS.

Powering the Jawa Perak is a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine which churns out 30bhp of power and 32.74Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox. Weighing at 175kg (kerb), it incorporates a fuel tank of 14 litres. Incorporating 18-17-inch spoke wheel combination, the Perak is suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monshock at the rear.

Classic Legends has also increased the prices of the Jawa Standard and Forty-Two and you can read about it here
